Cyanotype Photo Converter
Upload your photo and download a print-ready negative in about 30 seconds.
Before you upload, check these 3 things
Good lighting
Your dog should be in bright, even light. Avoid harsh shadows and dark corners.
Clear subject
Your dog should fill most of the frame. Simple, uncluttered backgrounds work best.
Sharp focus
The photo should be crisp, not blurry. The eyes especially should be sharp.

FAQ
Does my photo leave my device?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Which file types can I use?
JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC (HEIC works best in Safari; otherwise export as JPG from your phone).
Why flip the image?
The negative is mirrored so when you print on transparency and expose, the final cyanotype matches your original composition.
What does the contrast slider do?
It boosts mid-tone separation before inversion. Higher values usually give bolder blues and whites in the print.
Why is my HEIC file not loading?
Some browsers cannot decode HEIC. Export the photo as JPG or PNG and upload again.
